About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Financial Planner. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about finance and keen to build a rewarding career in financial planning.
You’ll work closely with experienced Financial Planners to gain practical experience in all aspects of financial advice. From supporting client relationships to learning how to create tailored financial plans, this role offers structured development and hands-on learning in a professional, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support including document preparation, data entry, and client file management
2. Assist Financial Planners with preparing reports, reviewing financial information, and conducting research
3. Learn how to build personalised financial plans based on client goals, risk tolerance, and circumstances
4. Participate in training and development sessions to gain knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and industry regulations
5. Collaborate with team members to stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes
6. Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and outstanding service.
What We're Looking For
1. A recent graduate or equivalent, ideally with a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related subject
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Eagerness to learn and grow in a regulated professional environment
5. A collaborative, team-focused approach
6. Basic understanding of financial markets and investment products (preferred but not essential)
7. High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
