Teacher of Maths Responsibilities: Deliver Maths lessons to a range of abilities in line with curriculum objectives Maintain organised learning resources. Support the progress of all students studying Mathematics by taking a role in departmental support. Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining peace, motivation and challenge. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students. Use creative teaching methods to engage students in lessons. Teacher of Maths Requirements: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in teaching Mathematics. Ability to work well within a team as well as individually. Have committed and passionate view of students with SEND. Has knowledge of the national secondary education system, examinations and curriculum. Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour. Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
