Our international gaming client looks for a Finance Director to join their business with a particular focus on automation and connect systems globally to make for a more efficient timely process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly reporting to directors;
* Month end and year end process (financial statements, reconciliations);
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
* Oversee the posting of and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable;
* Verify commissions payable to service providers;
* Manage client accounts payables and receivables;
* Tax reporting;
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
* Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios;
* Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health;
* Monitoring spending and creating budgets;
* Preparing company reports for investors;
* Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits;
* Collaborating with management to create funding strategies;
* Overseeing a company's payroll and bookkeeping system.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Experience supervising, mentoring and coaching junior team members;
* Experience with tax compliance and substance requirements;
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred;
* Casino and/or Sportsbook operator experience helpful;
* Proven experience of automation and connecting systems to improve efficiencies;
* Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS;
* Experience in managing year-end audit processes;
* Familiarity with financial accounting statements;
* Fluency in English - both written and spoken;
The role would initially be remote (working from home in the IOM) but the client is considering securing office space.
