We are recruiting a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional for a Regional Sales Manager role. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major civils and drainage projects with a diverse client base within Marshalls.
What’s the Mission?
Reporting to the Southern Trading Director, you will leverage your sales experience to identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities in Civils & Drainage products. Your role involves building strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including specifiers, contractors, house builders, and merchants.
You will develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national strategies, deliver excellent customer service, and engage with merchant branches to foster profitable relationships. Represent Marshalls at exhibitions and trade events to monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Essential Skills:
* Strong commercial experience with stakeholders such as builders’ merchants, specifiers, and contractors.
* Proven ability to grow business through relationship management.
* Creative and solutions-oriented thinking.
* Knowledge of procurement routes and negotiation skills using technical specifications.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to understand and sell technical products.
* Passion for customer service.
* Attention to detail in commercial and administrative tasks.
* Excellent timekeeping and adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.
* Driving license and ability to travel across the UK, ideally residing on the patch.
