NSB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious BMS Engineer to play a key role within this award-winning, data-led, energy management and technical engineering consultancy. Location: Glasgow, Scotland (fully remote, with travel as required)

Working hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
1. Specialise in all aspects of BMS, Automation Controls and Connected Solutions.
2. Installation, upgrade, servicing & maintenance, and commissioning of BMS and associated solutions.
3. Lead the installation and servicing of BMS systems.
4. Implement system upgrades and modifications to enhance overall performance.
5. Integration of BMS with various control systems.
6. Ensure seamless communication and interoperability among diverse control platforms.
7. Interfacing with MODbus, Mbus and BACnet systems to third-party equipment, using MQTT, JSON and API’s using Webhooks.
8. Execute commissioning activities to validate the functionality and efficiency of installed BMS and Controls.
9. Collaborate with project teams to address any integration challenges during commissioning.
10. Contribute to the maintenance and optimisation of diverse BMS across multiple projects.
11. Work on-site across various locations in the country to oversee installation, integration, and commissioning activities.
12. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
13. Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
14. Produce comprehensive maintenance and site survey reports.
15. Support remote maintenance and fault diagnostics activities.
Required Qualifications:
1. Working knowledge of proprietary controls systems and BMS systems, including the ability to create graphical representations of the installed BMS solution.
2. Good electrical knowledge and sound understanding of M&E systems, including fault finding.
3. Full driving licence.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
5. Ability to motivate and maintain good cross-functional relationships.
6. Ability and willingness to undertake frequent travel within the UK and overseas for the role.
Salary and Benefits:
