We are pleased to be working on two very exciting opportunities within a care and education setting!
This organisation is searching for a Teacher and a Lead Teacher to provide effective learning and teaching to children at the schools.
Your responsibilities will cover:
* Knowing students’ interests and abilities to capture their imaginations and make learning relevant to their lives.
* Ensuring positive classroom conditions for learning (organised resources, stimulating environment, seating plan for learning).
* Monitoring student progress over time and setting appropriately challenging learning objectives which develop skills and knowledge.
* Developing a forward-thinking and inspiring vision for excellence in their area which is underpinned by the values and the direction of the Head of Education.
* Leading opportunities for students to build resilience, optimism, and motivation within the curriculum and beyond.
* Liaising directly with the Head of Residential Care at the home to ensure continuity of care of the children they teach and maximise positive impact on them.
* Undertaking any additional tasks/responsibilities as directed by the Lead Teacher/Head of Education.
You will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a good standard of education (GCSE Maths and English, grade C or above).
* Ability to plan, develop, and monitor appropriate learning activities.
* Ability to monitor and evaluate student progress and generate reports for stakeholders.
* Commitment to promoting equal opportunities and meeting the learning, social, cultural, and pastoral needs of students.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire professional colleagues.
* Ability to respond flexibly to changing demands and situations.
* Conform to the statutory requirements of the DfE Code of Practice - SEN.
