Our client is a leading provider of waste management and recycling solutions to a range of businesses across the UK. Due to a period of extraordinary growth, they now require a Sales Manager to look after a small team of 5 external sales executives. The team is looking to expand by 2/3 more sales executives this year. This a brilliant opportunity for a driven individual to join an established company and further their career rapidly. Main Responsibilities: • With frequent visits to their Bristol HQ, you will manage a small team of 5 sales people. • You team will be targeting small, medium and larger businesses dealing with Site managers, facility management, procurement and/or directors • Responsible for team revenue and profitability • You will look after recruitment and training for the team and also be responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team. • Involved in larger clients directly • Competitive tendering and maximising reactive opportunities • Following up on leads generated elsewhere within the company • Working as part of a fast-growing team The Individual: • You must have experience of managing an external sales team (ideally within the waste management or related industries) • You must be located in the South Wesat and have the ability to get into their Bristol office. • You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of developing new business teams. • You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Professional appearance and attitude • Hold a current and valid driving license
