The Role
Take a proactive role assisting an approachable and mentoring Partner and their highly regarded team deliver a high standard of legal services to their clients within a supportive team environment. Work on matters which include corporate governance, capital management initiatives, complex shareholder arrangements and joint ventures, initial public offerings, and advising on ASX compliance and obligations.
Duties
1. Preparation of legal documents and other correspondence
2. Maintaining legal files
3. Client management
4. Managing lawyers’ diaries and travel arrangements
5. Management of meetings and telephone conference calls
Skills & Experience
1. 2 years experience as a legal assistant / secretary
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
4. Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
5. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
6. IT savvy with good technical skills
