Kingfisher Telecom is looking for high-energy, driven sales professional to join the sales effort across the Surrey area. As Sales Manager, you’ll be working directly with the Managing Director and executive team to identify new business leads, grow the sales pipeline and close new business sales. You’ll be expected to generate leads in the field as well as leverage all existing contacts to grow the sales pipeline. In addition, we expect you to generate brand awareness in the business community and maximise reseller and partner programmes to help boost your results. You’ll be supported by a sales support team and a comprehensive team of network and technical experts. Key Responsibilities You will be part of the sales team and will be expected to generate leads and manage the whole sales process from identification to closing the sale You will be expected to achieve financial objectives Understand all elements of the Sales Cycle including negotiation of pricing in line with the strategy Uncover, identify and close business over the phone and face to face Plan sales and marketing strategies to produce campaigns to raise presence and generate leads Building a good profile in the business community and online Developing a profitable network of resellers/channel partners Maintaining an adequate funnel of opportunities and accurately forecasting results Core skills The role will require the following skills: understand the product set identify actual leads and sell work independently and proactively strong written and verbal communication ability relationship building, networker and team player handle high workloads and prioritise tasks good numerical skills reasoning ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook achievement-oriented with a ‘can-do' attitude have a genuine interest in technology Experience Required Proven experience in winning new business sales, ideally in the IT or Telecommunications market.
