About the Role:
Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a large manufacturing business based in Ilkley, who are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a permanent position offering an excellent hourly rate, as well as opportunities for ongoing training and career development.Working hours: Early shift (Monday - Friday 6am- 2.15pm) / Late shift (Monday - Wednesday 2.15pm - 12.30am, Thursday 2.15pm- 12am, Friday's off)Hourly Rate: £15.29 + shift allowance
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, particularly on stainless steel.
2. Fabricate metal components to precise engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment (training available if necessary).
4. Ensure all welds meet strict quality and safety standards.
5. Conduct routine maintenance and checks on welding equipment.
6. Work within a collaborative team, contributing to project success and achieving production goals.
7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8. Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and quality.
