We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Lab Manager to join our growing team and lead our in-house laboratory operations.
Role Overview
As Lab Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dental laboratory. This includes leading a team of skilled dental and design technicians, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and liaising with dentists and clients to guarantee precision and satisfaction. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for excellence in dental restorations and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of dental and design technicians, promoting a positive, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
* Production Oversight: Oversee the fabrication of high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
* Workflow Management: Coordinate daily production schedules, monitor workflow, and implement processes to ensure timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all lab work meets required quality benchmarks and clinical specifications.
* Team Support: Provide guidance and support to lab team members, assisting with problem-solving and professional development.
* Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage lab supplies, and ensure equipment is well-maintained and operational at all times.
* Client Communication: Liaise effectively with dentists and clients to clarify case details, ensure accurate execution, and maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a dental laboratory setting, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
* In-depth knowledge of dental restoration processes and materials.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM and digital dental technologies is desirable.
