What You Can Expect As an Incentives/Share-Based Payment Financial Reporting Manager, you will lead the IFRS reporting, forecasting and analytics for our share-based payments schemes across the globe. This role will involve developing a deep understanding of the accounting implications and treatment for our long term incentives and compensation, while working closely with Legal, Reward and Finance functions (such as Tax, Treasury, and FP&A). Key Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing and owning all SBP related journals for the group, including month end reporting owning SOX controls High quality preparation of all SBP movement schedules and disclosures for statutory accounts,and be the main point of contact with external auditors on all SBP related matters Responsible for leading the forecasting for SBP expenses, working cross functionally with FP&A and Rewards for inputs. Conducting detailed monthly variance analysis to understand drivers and continually improving the accuracy of the model. Perform and review SBP balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies and eliminate year end surprises. Track liabilities and work cross functionally to resolve any discrepancies and queries Review current calculations and processes, and assess for accuracy, efficiency and automation. Build models and analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement using large data sets and statistical and mathematical methodologies Generate and track differences under IFRS 2 and US GAAP for equity and cash settled awards, taking into account different plan rules, performance and vesting conditions Understand and partner with the Reward team to manage SBP events (leavers, new grants, liquidity windows etc.), apply compensation and equity implications to financial models, accurately update tracking and documentation, and communicate effectively across the appropriate stakeholders Optimise and improve Excel models and visualisations to provide insights into our long-term incentive scheme, supporting senior stakeholder decision-making Model long-term incentive scenario projections, applying sensible and pragmatic assumptions to employee behaviour, Black-Scholes, and Monte Carlo inputs Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, addressing the accounting and cash implication of various long term incentive strategies and scenarios Lead meaningful conversations and provide insightful information to senior stakeholders, to ensure Rewards strategies align with overall business and finance objectives Manage projects effectively, ensuring value-added documentation and presentations are prepared and delivered on time Lead and support on SBP related finance transformation and ad-hoc projects, to support the global finance tribe and Reward team where appropriate Develop and mentor junior members. Experience & Qualifications We hope to engage a well-rounded individual who thrives in navigating complex problems and works collaboratively to bring insights to light for senior stakeholders A professional accounting qualification, with at least 3-5 years specialised IFRS experience working in Equity/Rewards/Incentives Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous Experience of working in Big 4 and/or multinational experience Demonstrated progression in prior roles with increasing responsibility, showcasing accountability and ownership of tasks Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested functions, mixed references, arrays, etc.).
