The Challenge:
To uphold our service level agreements and commitments, you will ensure that we implement preventative measures to maintain the fleet in optimal condition, while adhering to all current legislation and best practices. We seek an individual who will proactively manage a fleet of commercial vehicles, support our customers, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role is office based in Leicester.

Fleet and Transport Management: Have a good understanding of fleet and transport management.
You’ll really hit the ground running if you have:
Automotive Qualification: A recognized qualification in Automotive Inspection and Repair.
Software Experience: Experience using Jaama Key2.
Transport Management Knowledge: Knowledge of transport management for both HGV and LGV is desirable.
Operator Licensing: Understanding of operator licensing.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills.
What You Can Expect in This Role:
Issue Reporting: Highlight specific issues to the Lead Fleet Controller, particularly regarding fleet management and maintenance costs.
External Liaison: Liaise with external repair agents on fleet vehicle repairs, using an effective order number process, and control costs appropriately.
Customer Coordination: Liaise with customers and manage compliance events and obtain order numbers for re-chargeable repairs
Breakdown Management: Manage breakdowns from start to finish providing timely updates to customers and colleagues to minimize ‘vehicle off road time’ (VoR).
Call Handling: Answer incoming calls quickly, confidently, effectively, and professionally at all times.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate vehicle service history records, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and relevant.
Customer Relationship Support: Manage customer relationships and produce clear reports for effective communication and negotiation with customers, suppliers, and third-party agents.
SLA Compliance: Ensure third-party agents comply with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Invoicing Management: Address invoicing queries and ensure order numbers are closed promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvements of effective administration systems within the department.
Training and Development: Be receptive to training and participate in departmental improvements of systems and procedures.
Office Support: Assist in office duties and provide cover for other aspects of the operations department as needed.
Rota Participation: Participate in the rota system for Saturday mornings and on-call cover.
