Main Line Fertility is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time position on our team of professional clinicians. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, inform, and prepare patients for their appointments. Candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships, working well on a collaborative team, and delivering the very best in compassionate, patient care.
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 8:00am - 4:30pm, weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Location: Based in Bryn Mawr and FLOATING to our other area offices: Havertown, Reading, West Chester, Wyomissing, and Fort Washington.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting physicians with patient care.
* Preparing patients for exams or treatment including taking patient history, vitals, and phlebotomy.
* Preparing exam and treatment rooms as needed and ensuring they are fully stocked for patient care.
* Performing and assisting with general administrative tasks such as contacting/scheduling patients.
* Documenting patient care and maintaining electronic patient records in compliance with all regulations and policies ensuring accuracy and in a timely manner.
Education and Experience:
* Medical Assistant Diploma and Certification, Patient Care Technician Certification, or Phlebotomy Certification required.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Phlebotomy experience required; certification preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience required.
* Experience in Women’s Health or Fertility preferred.
* Strong keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential.
