Roles and Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, you’ll be part of a dynamic, experienced team driving growth and diversification. As a key player in our strategic expansion, your main responsibilities will include: Highlight and offer a comprehensive range of services, including asbestos surveys, expert consultancy, asbestos removal, air quality testing, water hygiene management, tailored training programs, and workplace occupational hygiene solutions. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, securing new contracts and nurturing relationships with clients. Work closely with department managers to cross-sell a diverse portfolio of services, maximising revenue and service offerings to clients. Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial client relationships to drive revenue growth and ensure customer retention. Partner with the marketing team to provide insights and support on campaigns designed to attract new clients and business opportunities. Maintain and manage your pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales targets. Person Specification Our client is looking for an ambitious individual with a passion for business development and a proven track record of success, particularly in the asbestos consultancy and water hygiene compliance industries. The ideal person will bring: Demonstrable experience in business development within the asbestos consultancy and water hygiene compliance services. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and maintain strong relationships at all client levels. A strong ability to generate revenue through proactive lead generation and client engagement. Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications. A valid driving licence is essential for this role. Benefits Basic salary up to £37,000 per annum, based on skills and experience, achieve OTE starting at £52,000 and beyond. Company vehicle or car allowance, company-paid healthcare (after 3 years’ service), company pension (3% employer contribution), contractual sick pay and £1000 staff referral incentive 22 days’ holiday, rising to 25 after 3 years, and 27 days after 5 years, plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
