Supply Teaching Assistant - Year 1 (Full-Time)
Location: South Leicestershire, near Lutterworth
Contract: Full-time, ASAP start until July 2025
Salary: Paid to Scale (Based on Qualifications and Experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistant to join a small, well-respected primary school near Lutterworth. This full-time role is to support a Year 1 class and is available for an immediate start, running through to the end of the summer term in July 2025.
The school is part of a highly regarded and supportive trust and has been rated Good by Ofsted. With well-established routines and strong behaviour strategies, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing and collaborative environment.
The Role:
As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher and a class of 30 children with daily learning activities.
* Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, following well-established behaviour strategies.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support, ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum.
* Assist with preparing resources, setting up activities, and providing feedback on pupil progress.
* Collaborate with staff to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
About You:
We're looking for someone who:
* Has a Level 2 qualification, up to degree level experience in education.
* Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or teacher in the UK - this is essential.
* Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
* Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with staff and pupils.
* Is proactive, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running in a busy classroom.
