What you'll do: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans for Fire Safety R&D projects, including environmental, functional, and EMC testing of all products. Ensure timely completion of test plans, lead test activities, and report status to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve validation issues and improve processes. - Develop and lead the execution of detailed test plans, including test cases, test data, and acceptance criteria. - Conduct functional, performance, and reliability tests, using tools like Jira to plan, manage, and communicate. - Perform manual testing when necessary and validate hardware components, firmware, and software interfaces. - Track all tests, test case executions, defects, and requirements traceability. - Identify defects, anomalies, and performance bottlenecks, collaborating with development teams to address issues promptly. - Maintain regression test suites to verify product functionality across releases. - Provide accurate test reports highlighting failures and conditions for swift remedial action. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies through detailed test reports. - Work with other validation engineers to standardize best practices and continuous improvements. - Propose process improvements and optimize testing workflows. - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Qualifications: - Degree Qualified or relevant work experience of 5 years Skills: - Software and hardware validation, automated testing, requirements capture, DVPR generation, fault analysis Proven experience as a test engineer Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
