Job summary Are you an experienced Senior Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, innovative, and supportive team? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to take on a department leadership role at Dene Barton Community Hospital. This role involves having overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Physiotherapy service for the locality, providing leadership, including organisation, delegation, and individual line management of team members. The role will allow you to take an active part in the development of the MSk Physiotherapy service, providing advanced specialist advice, teaching and training, regarding musculoskeletal management and ensuring a high standard of care within the department. You will maintain a clinical caseload of at least 60%. You will be joining a motivated team of a Band 4 exercise instructor, Band 5 and 6 physiotherapists and osteopaths, supported by Enhanced and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners visiting the departments. You will work closely with the Leadership team and lead on the delivery of timely and consistently high-quality care. Main duties of the job This band 7 role will comprise of leadership of the MSK Physiotherapy team of twelve colleagues, alongside the admin team and other specialities including paediatrics, hands and pelvic health.
