We are undertaking a Asset Lifecycle transformation – looking to optimise our operating model across the Group with the aim of increasing our Asset Management maturity. We are seeking a highly motivated and expert Asset Management Project Manager to join our dynamic team and help craft and deliver this change. The role will be a part of the Asset Management programme team, reporting into the Head of Asset Lifecycle Programme. The role will be responsible for driving maturity in our Asset Management across the Tesco Group. This will include the transformation of how our Asset Management Policy and Strategy feeds Tesco’s Maintenance regimes, Asset Management Planning and our KPI and Risk frameworks; as well as development of a more mature operating model (including system change) within key parts of the lifecycle, e.g. Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, project management, and excellent leadership skills. Project Management of the development of key Asset Management documentation e.g. Asset Class Strategies, Maintenance Strategies and a Group Asset Hierarchy for both technical and fixed (structural) assets Work with key business stakeholders to develop an Asset Management Performance framework Work with Property Risk Manager to develop an Asset Management Risk Framework Work with Process Managers and Business teams to refine and develop our processes to increase Tesco’s Asset Management Maturity Build foundational Asset Management knowledge across the Property organisation Work with process and Data team to support creation of our to-be data-requirements Work with process managers and SME’s to co-design and embed effective Asset Management process and governance Management of associated asset management projects including operating model development and system transformation LI-AG2 Technical foundation in Engineering or Maintenance Expertise in AM principles, principles, including industry standards and guidance such as the IAM’s Conceptual Model, the GFMAM’s 39 subjects and the ISO55000 series Extensive experience of having designed and implemented successful AM change in other organisations and sectors Extensive experience of having authored good practice AM documentation (AM Policy, AM Strategy, Asset Hierarchy, Asset Class Strategies etc.) in other organisations Detailed understanding of the implications of an organisation’s AM documentation, how it informs maintenance regimes, data hierarchies, information strategies and more You will have experience of working in an Infrastructure Organisation, with knowledge of the major phases of the asset lifecycle (Acquire, Operate, Maintain, Decommission) and its enablers e.g., Asset Information & Asset Risk. Proven experience of upskill and delivering training in AM principles Proven senior and cross functional stakeholder management Self-starter – able to craft and inspire change as part of programme team with limited supervision Proven experience working across different international regions Proven experience designing and delivering operating model (including system) change within an Asset Management environment
