An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Manager role for the Community Diagnostic Centre, working in partnership with North East London to build the vision at Mile-End Hospital in creating a Community Diagnostic Centre of excellence to deliver a range of diagnostic services against quality, financial, performance, and strategic objectives for the Community Diagnostic Centre at Mile End Hospital. You will need to be an outstanding project and operational manager, motivating your team to deliver continuous improvements to patient pathways and processes while maintaining best value for the NHS and nurturing your workforce.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Lead on the operational delivery for the opening and running of the Mile End Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) ensuring the safe and effective use of all resources.
2. Play a key role in developing the centre, facilitating meetings, and promoting innovation and transformation to improve patient pathways.
3. Provide strategic management to the CDC programme and support the SROs for the project.
4. Work collaboratively with the leads of the other NEL CDC programmes to encourage the sharing of good practices.
5. Develop processes to monitor and manage activity at the CDC with clear reporting information developed for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Provide project management expertise in translating relevant national, regional, and local policy and direction associated with developing, transforming, and improving local services.
7. Develop and gain approval for referral management and transfer of patient information with GDPR compliant processes.

Experience
* Proven experience of managing a significant service budget.
* Up-to-date knowledge of NHS system reform policy and other key policy drivers.
* Proven track record of successful and sustained management in an NHS Trust or similar organization.
* Successful delivery of significant organisational change.
* Evidence of a track record in change management.
* Experience of managing people and teams.
* Experience in developing creative solutions to problems.
Skills
* Demonstrate the ability to prioritise, organise and carry out own work effectively and within agreed timescales.
* Inter-agency communication and negotiation.
* Project management, implementing change, and evaluation.
