What you will do in your working day
It is the responsibility of the leisure duty manager to ensure the facility is prepared for use in accordance with the planned activity programme and that all areas are maintained to the highest possible standards of safety, cleanliness, security and operational effectiveness. Their responsibility is to:
* Manage staff performance and on-going development.
* Ensure staff are motivated, efficient and operate at a high standard.
* Oversee and action the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
The training you will be getting
As part of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will need to achieve the following qualifications:
* First aid at work
* Pool plant operator
* Level 3 leisure duty manager qualification
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
We have full time leisure duty manager roles on site which if there is a vacancy within the team when the candidate has finished/completed their apprenticeship, then the candidate can apply to further their knowledge and skills.
