Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Support Workers to join a new service within our incredible team in Bedlington part time.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life.
We are looking to recruit three Female Support Workers - 1x 30hours position and 2x 20hours positions - for day shifts between the hours of 9am and 8pm. The role is to support a young woman with autism who enjoys various hobbies including going to the gym, going for a walk, and going shopping.
What we're looking for : • A genuine passion for supporting others. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
A car driver would be preferred but a driving licence is not essential.
Contract options : • Part-time:1x 30hours an 2x 20hours
Shift times : • Days: Between 09:00 and 20:00
