Reporting to: Senior Contact Team and Volunteer Project Lead
Purpose of the role: This role is to provide varied admin support to the whole team. The role is based in our office in Spennymoor, so the ability to get there is necessary. We can reimburse travel expenses in accordance with the policy.
The Volunteer Project will be responsible for inductions, training, and supervision from the Contact Team in accordance with the organisation's Volunteer Policy and Procedures.
Duties could include the following:
1. Sending the relevant information to a Carer once their registration is completed.
2. Helping with post and mailouts.
3. Keeping our Charitylog records up to date.
4. Completing any other admin tasks necessary, including additional training by the team.
5. Assisting with the administration of events if necessary.
6. Making follow-up calls to Carers.
Role requirements:
1. Participating in our induction and recruitment process.
2. Agreeing to an enhanced DBS check being carried out if necessary.
3. Participating in training required for the role and any subsequent mandatory training; other training may be offered but is not required.
4. Attending 2 of the 4 peer support sessions in a year.
5. Participating in supervisions.
Desirable but not essential:
1. Being computer literate; however, training can be given on specific packages.
