Based on a huge Government Building, working for Skanska who deliver Hard Services on site, you will work with a talented team of Engineers and Technicians - ensuring onsite maintenance, reactive works and fault analysis is conducted within the terms of the contract.
We are looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to join the Building Services team at MOD Whitehall, London.
What you’ll do:
* Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis.
* Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications.
* Temperature checks and monitoring, Water Sampling – to include Cooling Towers and systems, TMV Servicing, Shower clean and disinfection, Tank inspections, Following a preventative maintenance program as instructed, Successful completion of reactive tasks resulting from Water treatment management, Providing same-day service reports as required, Cooling tower maintenance, Logbook maintenance, Subcontractor management for legionella management.
* Carry out general duties which require multi-skilled discipline, including chillers, AHU’s along with cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repair of all Mechanical systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing and heating systems.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ’A’ and ’B or equivalent.
* BMS experience and multi-skilling capability.
* Demonstrate understanding of statutory compliance HVAC and Water Treatment.
* Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar.
* Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role.
