Simple Recruitment are looking for a Planning Operations Support for a temporary opportunity with our client in Wincanton. For the right candidate, this could be a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
* Processing telephone and email orders into our clients computer system in an accurate and timely manner and communicating the orders to relevant members of the business.
* Contacting customers for sales orders and any service-related issues.
* Entering third party supplier despatch information into our clients system in a timely manner.
* Managing the planning of their other site:
– Liaising with the procurement director to agree on product purchase requirements.
– Liaising with the production team to agree on weekly packing priorities and product plan.
* Managing product stocks to ensure all orders are fulfilled effectively.
* Providing planning back-up to any other Planning Operations Support whilst on holiday.
* Maintaining customer administration (new customers, new ship to locations, and sales pricing etc.) in our clients system and providing sales support information to their commercial team.
About You:
The role requires a team player and suits someone who is computer literate with an analytical mind, who is pro-active and able to communicate effectively within a small team, the business as a whole, and with external customers.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
(A level of flexibility for infrequent out of hours calls in the evening and weekends might be required.)
