About the Role:
CERTIFIED TRANSLATION SOLUTIONS™ is looking for a skilled and dependable Soninke Interpreter and Translator to join our team on a freelance basis. In this role, you'll provide both face-to-face interpreting services for clients in London, as well as remote interpreting for clients based anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and fluent interpretation services between Soninke and English, either face-to-face or via remote platforms.
Translate written materials between English and Soninke with precision and cultural sensitivity.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Work closely with clients to understand their language needs and provide tailored solutions.
Ensure a seamless and effective interpreting experience for all parties involved.
Stay informed on the latest terminology, language trends, and industry best practices to continually improve your service.
What We’re Looking For:
At least one year of prior experience in Soninke interpretation and translation. (If you do not have prior experience, please get in touch)
Strong fluency in both Soninke and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills in both languages.
Availability for face-to-face interpreting in London and remote interpreting work from anywhere.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
A reliable internet connection for remote assignments.
Certification in interpreting or translation is desirable but not essential.
