Your role will involve leading the pharmacy Haem-Onc service in the delivery of specialised medicines, medicines optimisation, mentoring colleagues, and leading on innovation and service development. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing invaluable pharmaceutical insights related to haemato-oncology/ haematology treatments to our medical and nursing staff. You will be a leader in the pharmacy and haem-onc teams and act as a role model and expert in the haem-onc/ haematology pharmacy field to ensure consistently high standards of our clinical pharmacy service. You will play a crucial role in the development and training of our pharmacy staff, developing the non-medical prescribing service for the specialty, providing chemotherapy training, training pre-registration and junior pharmacists, and contributing to medical and nursing staff e-prescribing training. You will also line manage the senior pharmacist in the service and supervise band 7 Pharmacists on rotation.
