Parts Advisor - Leicester area

Our client, the No1 motor trade employer in the country, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor.
You will be responsible for supporting the Parts Manager & Parts Supervisor in the efficient running of the department including the showroom and goods inward area whilst maintaining effective and accurate communications between customers and the Parts Manager.
Responsibilities of the Parts Advisor:
* Demonstrate a 'One Team' approach, and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers/suppliers.
* Ensure that all requests are dealt with promptly, and support and assist colleagues and customers with parts identification, searching, and sourcing.
* Maintain the parts stock room and manage stock levels, taking responsibility for ordering and selling a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories.
* Achieve a level of profitability that meets departmental, branch, and company expectations.
* Deal with customers on a day-to-day basis whether face to face, phone, or email.
* Manage existing customer accounts and build new relationships with customers to increase departmental growth and exceed customer expectations.
* Maintain all records efficiently and accurately as required, including the preparation of quotations and liaising with the Service department.
* Manage stocks alongside the parts manager to maintain correct stock levels and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner.
* Communicate information effectively and in a timely fashion to those departments that may be influenced in the service you are providing.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Experience in a similar role within the motor industry and be IT literate.
* High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
* Fantastic communication skills and customer-facing experience.
* Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and providing the best advice on products and services.
* Knowledge and experience in the agricultural, automotive, or plant machinery industry.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently.
* Proactive and methodical in approach to problem-solving.
* Work towards targets and objectives set.
* Able to work alone and on your own initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Full driving licence is required.

Working hours/days:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Every third Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm which is part of the salary package.
Salary:
£26,000 basic
£30,000++ OTE and uncapped.
