About the Role: Deliver engaging and dynamic Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health-related education, tailored to the needs and interests of female students. Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that promote skill development, tactical understanding, and physical fitness for all students, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Coach school sports teams (specifically girls' teams) and contribute to the extracurricular sports program, promoting female participation and leadership in sports. Assess student progress in practical activities, fitness assessments, and theoretical work, providing constructive feedback and celebrating achievements. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Physical Education. A good understanding of sports coaching principles, fitness training methodologies, and health education, with an awareness of gender-specific considerations in sports and physical activity. Experience coaching a variety of sports, ideally including both individual and team activities, with a focus on female participation and development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire female students of all abilities and backgrounds.
