The Role
The Graduate Project Engineer will assist with the management of cable installation and cable repair projects within the Subsea Cables department around the UK and North West Europe.
Technical expertise is required on all project related tasks as well as managing a broad range of sub-contractors, operation and technical teams.
Key Duties:
* Co-ordination and delivery of marine projects within Subsea Services Department
* Salvage and Diving Operations
* Planning cable installation, repair operations and remedial works
* Developing department processes, method statements, marine solutions and engineering drawings
* Costing of projects and tender preparation
* Assist in production of all pre & post operational documentation
* Sub-Contractor management
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must be flexible with working hours and have a positive can do attitude working in a busy environment.
This role is based at our Head Office in Burntisland, Fife, however there is a requirement to travel regularly throughout the UK and internationally.
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline – preferably Marine / Engineering / Renewable Energy / Environmental
* Provide a broad level of project planning and engineering expertise
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel and Microsoft Project Planner
