A leading UK law firm is seeking an ambitious Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its highly regarded and dynamic team. Recognised for excellence in the legal industry, the firm provides high-quality legal services and a collaborative working environment.
The Role
The Commercial Real Estate team consists of 5 partners and 14 lawyers, forming part of a 37-strong real estate group, including specialists in dispute resolution, construction, and environmental law. The team is widely recognised as a leader in the Southeast outside London, handling high-value transactions and working with a broad client base across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
* Development Projects - Advising on all aspects of commercial and residential development.
* Investment Transactions - Assisting clients in acquiring and disposing of commercial property portfolios.
* Corporate Occupiers - Supporting retail, office, and industrial occupiers with leasing and property management.
* Real Estate Finance - Advising lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions.
* Client Engagement - Working with a diverse client base, including property companies, owner-managed businesses, listed REITs, funds, international corporates, and high-net-worth individuals.
* Sector Expertise - Gaining experience across industrial & logistics, retail, hospitality & leisure, healthcare, and residential development.
* Business Development - Actively contributing to client growth and firm-wide initiatives.
Candidate Profile
* 2-4 years PQE with solid experience in commercial real estate transactions.
* Strong technical knowledge, with experience in development, investment, landlord & tenant matters, and real estate finance.
* Experience working within a major City, national, or leading regional practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, client-focused approach.
* Ability to take ownership of matters, working independently where required.
* Proactive in business development and seeking opportunities to contribute to the firm's success.
