This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, highly skilled, and dedicated Senior CCTV Engineer to become a key part of our established team. We are seeking a motivated professional to lead on complex installations, undertake advanced diagnostics, and provide expert maintenance for CCTV and Access Control systems across the UK.

Based in the West Midlands, we specialise in designing, installing, and maintaining market-leading CCTV and Access Control solutions for a diverse range of commercial and industrial clients nationwide. As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for quality and reliability. You'll need to integrate seamlessly into our experienced team, demonstrating leadership capabilities whilst being happy to share duties and work collaboratively. You must be confident working independently on complex tasks, capable of managing your workload effectively, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Lead the installation, commissioning, configuration, and handover of sophisticated IP and analogue CCTV systems and Access Control solutions.
· Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with current industry standards (e.g., SSAIB principles) and site-specific H&S requirements (including RAMS).
· Mentor and provide technical guidance or support to junior engineers when required.
· Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly (e.g., service reports, commissioning certificates, job sheets).
· Liaise professionally and effectively with clients, project managers, and internal colleagues.
· Manage van stock levels and ensure necessary equipment/materials are available for projects.
· Travel across the UK for installations, occasional overnight stays (accommodation and subsistence provided).
· Work overtime as required by project demands and locations (paid overtime and travel time).
Candidate Requirements:
· Essential: Proven, substantial experience (minimum 5+ years recommended) working as a Security Systems Engineer, specialising in CCTV and Access Control.
· Essential: Monday - Friday | 8AM – 5PM
· Essential: Demonstrable expertise in the installation and commissioning of IP CCTV systems (including network configuration) and major Access Control brands.
· Essential: Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across a range of security equipment.
· Essential: Full, clean UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of two years, with willingness to travel extensively.
· Essential: Comfortable and qualified (or willing to be trained) to work safely at height.
· Essential: Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual tasks associated with installations (lifting, carrying, drilling etc.).
· Essential: Good IT literacy – comfortable using laptops/tablets for system configuration, diagnostics, and reporting.
· Essential: Must hold or be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
· Desirable: Formal technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, BTEC in electronics, engineering).
· Desirable: Manufacturer-specific training certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Paxton, Avigilon).
· Desirable: Experience with basic electrical principles and safe isolation.
