Develop and share your expertise in bakery manufacturing technologies from concept to launch and all the bits in-between.
Are you looking for a new outlet for your bakery specialist skills? This bakery business is recognised as one of Europe’s leading sweet bakery manufacturers. Over the last year they have transformed ways of working and invested c.£5M in site and kit upgrades. More investment is earmarked, and this is your opportunity to influence where it goes.
Your knowledge will have been honed in a large bakery manufacturing environment. You understand the science behind bakery processes, with in-depth knowledge of bakery ingredient functionality, along with experience of the process from concept to launch and scale up?
You’ll be fully involved and engaged right across the factory, working across production, process, NPD and commercial to drive up quality. Seen as the factory expert, your people skills are as important as your technical know-how. For example, explaining why a production process needs to change when it’s ‘always been done this way’ requires the ability to engage, influence and share knowledge proactively.
This business is recognised for their innovative product range, supplied to most of the UK major retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, ASDA, Aldi, and Lidl. Working with the customer on projects such as sugar reduction, ingredient performance and cost savings will call on your experience of retailer codes of practice, quality standards and BRC, working with the customers’ technical teams to iron out any anomalies and drive up quality.
You should apply if you want to be part of an entrepreneurial business that encourages new ideas, ways of working and knowledge sharing. Send your CV to me, Alison for a full and open discussion about the opportunity.
You must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
