This newly created role will support our retrofit/decarbonisation works across the Midlands region, this role offers a mixture of site and office working, ideal candidates will be comfortable in working from our Stoke or Birmingham office. As a Project Manager and a subject matter expert in retrofit and decarbonisation, you will have the knowledge to ensure successful mobilisation and focus on compliant delivery through to handover for our clients, to enable them to achieve their zero carbon targets across their portfolios. An outline of your responsibility as a Senior Project Manager Lead the best practice solutions for Retrofit from mobilisation through to handover, supporting the Operational team to carry out the day to day delivery of projects, on time, on budget with a high standard of work Support the business development, working with the Win Business department in identifying further works opportunities and contributing to bid quality returns Support contract mobilisation activities and successfully lead on the completion of the relevant stages of the mobilisation plan Provide regular updates to key stakeholders in line with the business requirements Proactively support colleague training and upskilling across all roles within the management and delivery teams. Lead on and support the Senior Leadership team in client meetings during the stages of assessing project feasibility, potential funding avenues and supporting with the forming of delivery programmes Ensure all business required systems, processes and procedures are fully embedded across the regional retrofit / decarbonisation activities, allowing the golden thread of information to be captured Proactively identify non-compliances working with the operational teams to rectify, developing forward solutions for future works to avoid issues Maintain a strong knowledge of emerging best practices in all relevant fields and research their relevance to the business making recommendations accordingly Maximise and ensure best practice is spread throughout the business for associated workstreams About You As an experienced Project Manager who specialises in Retrofit and sustainability within the refurbishment sector, ideally you will hold a Level 5 Retrofit qualification and a good understanding of PAS 2030 & 2035 requirements. With a site presence you will require SMSTS or associated NVQ qualification, but if expired we will support you to renew, it’s knowledge and skills that goes with the qualification that’s essential to us. Our preferred candidate will be experienced, knowledgeable, self-starter focused on delivery and able to communicate well with the team to ensure every day runs smoothly. Confident IT skills including MS Projects or similar is required also.
