QHSE Manager Biggleswade - Utilities We are partnering with a cradle to grave project delivery partner specialising in planning, commercial and project management. Due to continued growth in their team, they are seeking a QHSE Manager to aid with their development in Biggleswade, Herts with site visits to Essex, East Anglia and North London. Responsibilities Ensure Compliance with Regulations and Standards: Oversee that all utilities projects comply with local, national, and international safety, environmental, and quality standards. This includes monitoring adherence to regulations, industry codes, and internal policies. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments for each project phase and ensure that mitigation plans are in place. This includes identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents or incidents. Develop and Implement QHSE Plans: Develop QHSE management plans for each utilities project, outlining safety, environmental, and quality control measures to ensure smooth project execution while meeting organizational and regulatory standards. Training and Awareness Programs: Organize and facilitate training sessions for employees and contractors on health, safety, environmental, and quality best practices. Ensure that everyone is aware of potential risks and understands how to minimize them. Inspection and Auditing: Regularly inspect project sites to ensure QHSE standards are being met. Conduct internal audits, safety walkthroughs, and inspections, addressing any issues or discrepancies immediately to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Incident Investigation and Reporting: In the event of any accidents, environmental incidents, or quality concerns, lead investigations to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and report findings to stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement.
