About The Role
ForeverCare are looking for full-time dedicated Senior Support Workers to provide quality, person-centred support to Children and Young people who require structure in their lives.
We are committed to finding individuals who want to make a real difference to young peoples lives - people that are passionate, committed and invest in all that they do to achieve their potential and support others to do so.
You will work alongside the Manager in managing the home in an effective, confidential manner whilst supporting our young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will work with external agencies and attend relevant meetings as necessary. All daily and specific paperwork will need to be completed to a high standard.
You will undertake duties specific to senior support workers such as updating risk assessments, completing supervisions, supporting training plus offering support in daily tasks.
We are keen to speak with candidates who can work days and/or nights.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
* Right to Work in the UK
* 6 Months+ UK experience of working within a similar setting
* 5 years of professional references
* Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
* Relevant Qualifications (desirable)
* Driver (or willing to learn)
* NVQ 3 children and young people preferred or prepared to work towards
About Us
In our Supported Living service, staff support young people aged 16+ towards living independently and keeping themselves safe and bettering their lives. This involves working 1 to 1 or with other staff to support young people who are vulnerable and can show challenging behaviour. ForeverCare's aim with supported living is to help these young people change their life direction to a better one and prepare them for adulthood and living independently while keeping themselves safe. We are looking for support workers to join our supported living service.
