Job Title: Management Accountant
We are partnering with an award-winning family business based in the Northwest, established for over 150 years, and one of the country's largest employers. The business operates throughout the North of England as a supplier and distributor. Currently on a growth trajectory, they are looking to appoint a Management Accountant reporting to the Finance Director and managing the day-to-day activities of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Accounts team.
2. Prepare and produce management accounts for the company.
3. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare supporting review packs.
4. Manage and develop management information systems and reporting to enable performance management of the division.
5. Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts.
6. Provide financial support and reporting.
7. Support other departments with financial insights.
8. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified, part-qualified, or finalist in ACCA/CIMA.
* Management experience, including team management.
* Strong accounting systems and Excel skills.
* Salary up to £50,000.
