Band 7 Locum Sonographer • Position: Sonographer • Banding: 7 • Location: Surrey • Start: ASAP • Rate: £45.00 - £47.00 per hour We are seeking a proficient Band 7 Locum Sonographer to join our team in Surrey for a three-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing expert ultrasound services across a variety of cases. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Locum Sonographer, you will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular scans. You will ensure accurate and high-quality imaging, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards. Your role will involve patient preparation, conducting scans, interpreting results, and providing detailed reports to assist in patient diagnosis and management. Additionally, you will work closely with the healthcare team to support efficient service delivery and contribute to the ongoing development of the ultrasound department. Perform a range of obstetric and or non-obstetric ultrasound examinations. Produce high quality ultrasound reports under the delegation of the lead radiologist for Ultrasound and in accordance with accepted practice and protocols within the Obstetrics Department. Overall responsible for contributing to providing a high quality and efficient ultrasound service. Maintains the high standards of the department by contributing to individual and team objectives Requirements: HCPC registration as a Radiographer/Sonographer Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound Extensive experience in a range of ultrasound procedures Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient care and high standards of practice Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical demands Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable Why work with Pulse?
