To provide Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) Mechanical Engineering support to a Defence & Space focused manufacturer. Role involves writing processes, plans and procedures in 3D Experience for the production of Satellites and payloads. Involved in supporting hardware assembly on the Satellite such as black boxes, Solar Arrays and structure panels. Supporting Satellite environmental testing at the test facility and launch
*Role will be based at clients Stevenage facility for first phase of project, then transfer to testing facility based in Didcot, Oxford*

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Preparation Phase
1. Support to the customisation phase starting at the project kick off.
2. Support project DMU (Digital mock-up/design for manufacture) sessions to ensure design for manufacture.
3. Support in the creation of documentation required for the production phases, including ACS inputs, work instructions, and procedures.
4. Lead the installation of Satellite appendages and applicable integration flows and preparation.
5. Support the definition of MGSE for use on the Satellite and support procurement activities.
