Designing, innovating, and elevating piercing jewellery since the 90s, this client is clearly moving forward. Due to the growing market interest in their brand's services and product speciality, a new Studio/Concession will soon open within an iconic department store. In the future, visiting personal shoppers will enhance their jewellery purchasing experience through curated advice, professional piercing, and bespoke welding services. The client's ear piercing jewellery collection includes earrings, chains, bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and charms.
jOB roLE:
1. This role is primarily a retail concession leadership position that demands solid and proven retail management expertise.
2. Being part of a host store environment requires a higher level of attentiveness than managing a standalone store.
3. Alongside front-of-house management, you will oversee the Piercing Studio team and ensure all operations are seamless and brand-representative.
4. A focus on increasing product sales and utilising services (piercing and jewellery welding) will be a key priority, requiring significant initiative.
5. The ultimate aim is for your leadership to result in an efficient, profitable business unit that delivers an exceptional in-store customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. The ideal candidate will have solid retail experience and an innate ability to manage staff with varying skill sets.
2. Previous experience with jewellery merchandise is advantageous, but not essential; a background in piercing is not required.
3. A decisive leadership style is crucial, one that inspires buy-in from all employees, whether directly employed or within the wider sales environment.
4. You must campaign effectively, maximising your department's potential and leading by example to ensure your colleagues meet high client service standards.
5. Attention to detail is key, particularly regarding concession visual display and ensuring promotions are visible and promoted to their maximum potential.
6. A strong commercial mindset is essential, as you must be an extraordinary sales analyst, adjusting your trading practices to meet customer needs while adhering to company standards.
