About the Department
Global Private Markets Operations (GPMO) is a specialist operational partner providing expert support to Private Markets’ asset classes and Investment teams. We cater to all alternative and real estate asset classes, understanding their distinct requirements in terms of execution, clients, geographies, and systems.
About the Role
Please note this is a fixed term contract vacancy lasting 2 years.
Reporting to a Real Estate Operations Senior Manager, the role holder will support a variety of back-office and financial control activities for sophisticated real estate funds and mandates across continental Europe and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with Fund Controllers to meet key targets, including providing supporting documentation to service providers.
* Prepare client-standard and tailored financial reporting.
* Review financial reporting packages from accountants for various subsidiaries prior to consolidation.
* Assist with loan covenant reporting and AML/KYC processes.
* Support funding activities such as liquidity planning, capital calls, and preparation of drawdown notices.
* Coordinate board meeting documentation, supervise online banking payment setups, and support treasury management.
* Set up bank accounts and maintain treasury sheets.
* Assist in preparing files summarizing fund metrics and setting up payments via online banking platforms.
* Provide audit support where necessary.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CA or ACCA preferred).
* Knowledge of financial accounting in a commercial context.
* Experience with private markets fund wrappers (e.g., Luxembourg RAIFs, Limited Partnerships, investment trusts) is advantageous.
* Working knowledge of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication abilities.
