We are seeking reliable and professional Taxi/Private Hire Drivers to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Taxi/Private Hire Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Responsibilities
Drive passengers to their desired locations in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, fares, and local attractions.
Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as needed.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fares collected.
Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
Qualifications
Valid driving licence held for 12 months or more
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers.
Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
Previous experience as a customer related driver is an advantage but not essential.
Must be able to perform lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
