Area to be covered: London & South East
Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 Neg. + up to 20% Bonus
Benefits: £813 per month Car Allowance & Full Benefits
The role of the Business Development Manager Reinforced Concrete Frame will involve:
* Field sales position selling a wide range of reinforced concrete framing systems, including punching shear reinforcement, thermal break balcony connection systems & dowels, plus a range of formwork related products, including permanent formwork and ground heave systems.
* South East role, but currently 80%-90% of the projects are near Greater London/ M25
* Focus of this role will be managing relationships and developing business within groundwork and concrete frame contractors
* Working in a buddy system with a specification field sales professional responsible for increasing awareness of their systems with structural engineers/ getting involved with CPD presentation to structural engineering practices
* Contributing circa 40% of £12m budget for next year (as a pair)
* 60% account management, 40% business development role
* Typically 3-4 days a week on the road visiting construction sites and office visits, remainder of time administration
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Reinforced Concrete Frame with:
* Construction industry field sales experience, ideally worked for a manufacturer, but open to distribution backgrounds
* Must have sold structural building products/ heavyside or civil building materials
* Proven track record of managing relationships with groundwork contractors, concrete frame contractors and/ or main contractors
* Specification field sales experience with structural engineers is not essential
* Familiarity with punching shear reinforcement, thermal break balcony connection systems & dowels, plus a range of formwork related products, including permanent formwork and ground heave systems. would be very useful
