We are looking for a senior Nurse or AHP who can demonstrate their ability and transferable skills across a range of CYPF settings to engage with others, develop safe and effective pathways of care, lead innovation and creativity, resulting in improved outcomes and experience for CYPF and staff. You will work across settings across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, providing highly visible professional leadership and ensuring that the highest standards of clinical care are delivered in line with national and local standards.
The directorate also incorporates specialist primary care services including sexual health services and dentistry and an ability to use transferable skills to offer professional leadership and quality oversight to these teams will be required.

Main duties of the job
Is a core member of the triumvirate senior leadership team and is responsible for all aspects of clinical Nursing and AHP practice ensuring Nurses and AHPs have the right skills, in the right place to provide the right care at the right time and are capable, confident and competent to deliver high quality service user centred care.
Is accountable and responsible for providing the professional leadership of the registered and non-registered Nursing and AHP workforce across defined services. The post holder will ensure services are appropriately resourced and able to meet all the regulatory care standards required.
Will hold overall responsibility for the standard of Nursing and AHP care across all care pathways within the service delivery unit/s.
Will provide strategic and operational Nursing and AHP input at a senior leadership level to ensure appropriate advice is provided to the clinical management teams so that effective, high quality, safe, recovery focussed mental health services are delivered consistently across the services.
Will develop the most effective care pathways for service users through collaboration with other professionals and key stakeholders, which are in line with the clinical vision and agreed clinical models of service delivery model.

Will provide senior strategic visible clinical and professional leadership, for Nursing and AHPs. Providing specialist expertise and taking specific responsibility for patient safety, quality and experience, they will promote quality, innovation, productivity and performance that improves quality of care and patient outcomes driving transformation through agreed improvement models.
