A new and exciting position has arisen within our cross counties CAMHS service for a clinical lead for CBT. This is a new role which will give the successful candidate the opportunity to further develop the CBT offer within CAMHS. This role will be varied and whilst having clinical professional leadership for the delivery of CBT across the entirety of the CAMHS service, you will also hold a caseload of children and young people to whom you will deliver specialist CBT interventions using NICE approved therapies.
You will receive specialist supervision and support and will be encouraged to undertake continued professional development by undertaking relevant training. This role requires visibility across the teams within CAMHS. As this role is a cross counties role with bases across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the successful candidate will be sited at a base most convenient for them, with travel expected; travel expenses are claimed back through the trusts travel expenses policy.
Main duties of the job
You will be the clinical lead for CBT pathways across all CAMHS teams, providing clinical professional leadership to staff, leading and coordinating the delivery of CBT across the service, ensuring appropriate supervision for staff, undertaking quality improvements within the CBT pathway, providing training to staff, delivering specialist CBT interventions to a caseload, and contributing to the overall professional clinical leadership needs of the service.
You will work collaboratively as part of a wider clinical lead team, providing clinical leadership to ensure the highest achievable standards of service are delivered across teams. You will be part of the leadership team and will have a presence in leadership meetings and positively contribute to the continued development of the service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Professional qualification at degree or equivalent level i.e., MH Nurse/OT/Social Worker
* BABCP Accredited (or eligible for and willingness to work towards)
* Post Graduate Diploma in CBT
* PGCert Clinical Supervision
* Evidence of relevant continual professional development
* Masters degree or working towards
Skills & Abilities
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Demonstrate sound personal management skills i.e., time management, prioritising, planning, organisational and problem solving

Experience
* Extensive experience of practicing within own professional field.
