A Senior Clinical Fellow post is available to start as soon as possible until 2nd September 2025 in the department of Acute Internal Medicine, the post is full-time at 40 hours per week.
If you are successful, you will be expected to participate in the general medicine rota which is a 1:17 commitment. This gives another great opportunity to cover urgent medical issues right across the Unplanned Care Division, and every on-call shift will be another learning opportunity!
We will also look to support you if you are considering a career in medicine specialties, by helping with the attainment of Internal medicine competencies and any IM3 equivalencies, which are required prior to applications for higher specialty training.

Main duties of the job
1. Initial resuscitation and management of all emergency patients presenting to the department.
2. Initiation of the necessary investigation of patients and referral to the relevant on-call specialist team when indicated.
