Logistics Operatives move, position or place blades, related components, machinery and equipment around the blade facility (internally and externally). When the Logistics Operatives are not performing blade and related components/equipment moves they will be required to support other areas of production as required and be responsible for housekeeping of work area. Areas of Responsibility: Follow Siemens safety policy, procedures, risk assessments and quality standards Organise and plan blade/component moves in accordance with manufacturers operating procedures Check and monitor movements constantly ensuring very high levels of attention to detail Ensure safe positioning of people as movements are conducted Perform forklift, Master mover, Linde mover, mobile gantry crane and Oven duties in line with specified training and competency measures. Ensure all relevant personnel are fully aware of the job task prior to commencement of work Responsible for work area housekeeping (internally and externally) Stop the operation if an action is considered unsafe and report Inspect equipment daily and report faults Knowledge & Skills: · Experience of operating Master/Linde mover an advantage but full training can be given · Ability to work unsupervised as part of a team and plan workload to meet production demands · Forklift truck license (B1/B2) · Excellent communication skills · Superb time management and organisational abilities · Experience of working a shift pattern that includes nights Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.
