A primarily homebased role, with the opportunity to work from Rampton hospital one to two days per week. The role is part of the Trustwide Clinical Audit Team, whose responsibility it is to maintain, develop and promote the role of quality clinical practice in the planning, delivery and monitoring of clinical audit projects and ward, area, and service projects.
The postholder will provide an efficient service to the Clinical Audit Team to support the maintenance of effective administration systems to ensure that clinical audit activity is captured and reported.
The position involves organising schedules, minute taking, organising meetings, coordinating information, and preparing data.
Monitoring the clinical audit email inbox and responding appropriately.
Promoting and supporting the use of AMaT for those completing clinical audits and ward, area and service audits. Ensuring the AMaT system is accurate and up to date, matching the audit programme, and assisting with the production of monthly reports.
Main duties of the job
1. Arrange, coordinate, support and attend departmental and project meetings.
2. Contribute and participate in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and management of projects.
3. Visit all services across the trust to support the audit team in collecting data on clinical audit projects prioritised in the Annual Audit Programme.
4. Provide guidance, advice and audit support to clinicians undertaking clinical audit projects.
5. Prepare audit data for reports and draft interim reports for approval.
6. Promote and support the use of AMaT.
7. Maintain databases relating to clinical audit activity.
Job responsibilities

6. Promote and support the use of AMaT to record clinical audit and ward, area and service audit activity.
7. Monitor the requirement for and completion of Action Plans.
8. Maintain databases relating to clinical audit activity and tracking of associated action plans.
9. Contribute to the promotion and dissemination of clinical audit activities.
10. Ensure confidentiality of information through robust design, management and reporting of clinical information.
11. Undertake any other duties as required.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good general education, educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
* A willingness to undertake further training as required for the role.
* Knowledge of full range of business and administration procedures acquired through NVQ level 3 or proven practical experience.
* ECDL or equivalent.
* Evidence of personal development.
Skills
* Microsoft Office proficiency, including Database, Excel, and Word.
* Word Processing skills and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
* Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written.
* Ability to compile and present accurate reports and minutes.
