Hours: 15 to 30 hours per week (part-time) Salary: U18s - £7.50 ; 18 £11.44 Holiday: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro-rata Sponsorship: This does not meet sponsorship criteria A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Café Assistant What you'll be doing Reporting to the Café Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following: As a café assistant you will be serving customers, processing payments, preparing a range of hot drinks / sandwiches and making sure you maintain a high standard of cleaning during the shift. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements To succeed in the role of Café Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills: Good customer service and enjoys meeting new people Basic knowledge of food hygiene / allergens although training will be given. Barista skills will be an advantage, but training will proved. Takes great pride in what they do. Loves working as part of a team.
