Job Description
A senior Bookkeeper is required by a dynamic Chartered Accountant Practice based in North Leeds.
The successful candidate will join a busy team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and client books on a timely basis.
* Manage client finances, including processing transactions, reconciliations, and bank statements.
* Perform account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Salary:
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
